N.N. O'Hara grew up in San Diego, California, where she currently lives with her husband. Travels to Italy and childhood trips to Yosemite inspired the setting for her first novel, Search for Zykland. N.N. was thrilled when this work won the 2012 San Diego Book Award for Best Published Children's Fiction. She is now working on her second book, still inspired by her adventures both locally and farther afield.
